It is a brand of traditional handmade candies from Australia. Stick is brainchild of Australia master confectioner and entrepreneur David King. It’s founded from year 2001, it is still at the introduction level because they are still new in the market. Although still is new brand, but from year 2001 until now 2015, it already has a network of franchise, which is in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
Sticky is a candy combines the art of cooking, craftsmanship and a theatrical performance in its candy-making process. They offer live candy-making shows and special customizing services. Customer can order customized candies for wedding souvenirs, children’s parties and corporate events.

BACKGROUND OF STICKY
Sticky is the brainchild of talented, mildly interesting and internationally renowned confectioner, David King. Once an almost universally feared attorney, in 2000 David walked away from his law career to pursue the irresistible lure of artisanal candy-making. The first Sticky store was established in David's hometown - Sydney, in year 2001.
Initially apprenticing with an ancient Danish monk within a crumbling monastery deep in the Australian Outback, hidden, forgotten and disguised as an absurdly large banana, the Pupil would quickly rise to become the Master. In an excruciating yet arousing ceremony, David discovered that he was in fact The Sweet One: the once-in-a-Millennium possessor of a mystical gift for the ancient secrets of candy, the roots of which lie buried beneath antiquity, legend and fable.
Sticky has expanded its global franchise footprint to Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cambodia, Hollywood, Los Angeles and US. The Singapore is the first outlet and the second is Malaysia.

The CEO of the company, Angel Candies Sdn. Bhd., Ms Angel Tan went aboard to Australiafew years back and she decided to bring this candy back to Malaysia. Ms. Angel resided there for some time in order to learn the process of making rock candy. Angel Candies Sdn. Bhd, founded in 2009 has established itself as Malaysia’s confectionery brand in the food and beverages industry. The first outlet of Sticky in Malaysia opened on the 7th of November 2009 in 1Utama, Damansara, Petaling Jaya. Debuting in Malaysia, direct from the sun-and-convict drenched shores of Sydney, Australia. At that day, David King and Richard Godfrey had live show their skill in I Utama Sticky store. Sticky is the brainchild of talented, mildly interesting and internationally renowned confectioner, David King. Davit King- the master of candy-making, who is also the founder of Sticky Australia. Malaysia remains as the only country producing Sticky's rock candy that is certified halal.

All candies sale by Sticky-traditional handmade yummy is handmade by worker, they are not import from foreign. They will live show in front of customers of how to make their rock candy. To provide the best live show and a quality candy, Sticky have to provide training skill of make candy to employee who a candy chef. After they trained, they can show their skill in front of customers.
Process of make Sticky :
1. Melted sugar was poured onto a large shallow tray.
2. Then evenly spread out on the tray.
3. Favorite colours were poured onto the syrup
4. Client's requirement for candy design.
5.Sugar concentration test to determine the density and stretchiness
6 . The product is then cut into coloured blocks.
7. Sugar is rolled and kneaded .
8. Dough is pulled and stretched
9. Stretched dough is ready to be hand-sculpted.
